Hello People! ^ 0 ^

Hi! It's Taka Kagaku from Kagaku Cosplay, of course, and I am so excited to start this cosplay blog.

I had been sitting on the idea of running a blog such as this for some time now but never really had the initiative. Well, now I do!

This blog is going to be dedicated to a number of things that I feel are related to cosplay, such as:

1) WIP Dumps - This is where I will post a bunch of pictures of the aspects of a costume I am currently working on; select photos may have been posted on my Facebook page but will now include a nifty, more detailed explanation of what's going on!

2) Tutorials - If people request enough or if I just feel generous, I will do my best to provide detailed tutorials on how I made certain things!

3) Reviews - Be it lenses, wigs, accessories, or props; I can do reviews on the items I buy for costumes and sellers I bought them from (especially if I've bought from them more than once)!

4) Nerd Talk - Sometimes I just like to talk and geek out about certain things within the fandoms I love and the Facebook community tends to have a TL;DR attitude sometimes (for those who are new to the term like I was about 2 years ago, it originated on tumblr ((a site I have an account for but never use; may change that)) and it means "too long; don't/didn't read"). Luckily, with a blog, you're going in expecting an article with actual full sentences, paragraphs, and grammar- huzzah!

5) Cosplayer Feature - I look up to a lot of cosplayers- whether I know them personally or not- and I want to share their work with people!

6) Convention Write Ups - I love talking about conventions or other cosplay events I go to. I want to do more write ups about what happened at the convention; maybe include pictures of cosplays I saw and stuff I bought.

Now, a number of these posts could have videos to go along with them! I have a YouTube channel that is ran by my cosplay group and I hope to post more vlogs, surveys, and just plain old funny things on their with them, My cosplay group is collectively called Freaks of a Feather (Productions) that we abbreviate down to FOAF (fauf; ff-oh-ff for pronunciation help). We have to revamp the channel since we haven't used it in awhile but I hope that it too can come back with avengence since I have been able to keep my promise on using my FB page regularly.

I will be doing a formal introduction blog post later with the title "Introduction: 25 (Nerdy) Facts", But, for now, here is my convention plans for the rest of this year:
