[30 Day Cosplay Challenge] Days 4 & 5 - My Cosplay Communities & Blatant Self-Plug

As promised, a combined blog post to include days 4 and 5 of the 30 Day Cosplay Challenge!

These two days are mostly just sharing where I go to talk about cosplay and where I post my cosplay related information.

For Cosplay Communities, I mainly discuss cosplay on Facebook in various convention groups like the Official Ohayocon, Official Colossalcon, Official Shumatsucon, Official Ikasucon, Official Midoricon, and Official Matsuricon. A quick Facebook search will take you to these groups- some are open to join, some just have to be approved by an admin of sorts.
I used to be on a cosplay social media set up similar to Facebook but it has been shut down for awhile (so long, that I forgot its name...).

I also use the Cosplay Amino app for the phone which allows me to post blog entries and communicate on fandom specific chatrooms. I don't use it very often because I find trying to post full length blog posts annoying on my phone... I am much more at ease on a laptop or desktop computer.

All other discussions about cosplay primarily happens in person! Be it at conventions, at school, or just hanging out in my apartment- I'm always talking with friends and new acquaintances about cosplay.

But I also have accounts on DeviantArt, tumblr, and Instagram.
I haven't been doing much with DeviantArt as of late since I haven't had time to draw and haven't had nearly enough photoshoots to share. And I also just started getting back into using tumblr... in which this whole 30 day challenge was supposed to also be posted to... but hasn't. woops.
I do use Instagram a lot so you should most definitely follow me there!

[30 Day Cosplay Challenge] Day 3 - My Most Recent Cosplay

Woosh, and here we are, onto Day 3 of the 30 Day Cosplay Challenge!

The topic for today's challenge is "Your Most Recent Cosplay".
Considering my costume I'm currently working on isn't done and won't debut until March 12, I will be rewinding to Ohayocon where I debuted my first J-Rock costume in about 2.5 years! And it's the one I feel is better than all my attempts in the past...

[Nerd Talk] Past Cosplays - Sailor Moon

For this week's Past Cosplays on the Throwback Thursday agenda... I'm going to get really sentimental...

I wanted to go in order of costumes I've made- so I started with Miku and the next ones were Sailor Moon and Lily. I wanted to do Sailor Moon since I just finished her fuku recently over the summer- I want to show the progress of this costume. She will still be remade once more but... overall, I think I'm finally on the right track.

For Day 2, the question is: "How Many Cosplays Have You Done?"
Which... is going to require a lot of time traveling and thinking back as I cover all the costumes I've made or worn since 2011 (and maybe throwing in the 3 I did in 2010 to my first convention). So... here we go!!

[30 Day Cosplay Challenge] Day 1 - First Cosplay

Hello precious followers!
I've decided to take the plunge and attempt the 30 Day Cosplay Challenge which I found back at the end of January and saved for when there was a long enough month to do it in (March, obviously).
I skipped March 1 and decided my "day 1" would begin on March 2!

So, for Day 1, the challenge is to post my first cosplay!
Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of my actual first cosplays I took to a convention, so I'm going to use my first cosplay I entered into a competition!
