[30 Day Cosplay Challenge] Day 1 - First Cosplay

Hello precious followers!
I've decided to take the plunge and attempt the 30 Day Cosplay Challenge which I found back at the end of January and saved for when there was a long enough month to do it in (March, obviously).
I skipped March 1 and decided my "day 1" would begin on March 2!

So, for Day 1, the challenge is to post my first cosplay!
Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of my actual first cosplays I took to a convention, so I'm going to use my first cosplay I entered into a competition!

Vocaloid Miku Hatsune was my first cosplay that I entered into a competition and the cosplay that I mark as the start of my persistent desire to be a seasoned cosplayer!
She was my first in many aspects; first wig, first "mostly made from scratch" cosplay, first group cosplay, and first solo convention (no parental supervision).

I went with some awesome friends at the time but the one that stuck with me was my Gumi Megpoid (green wig) whom is, as many have come to figured out, Ragdoll Prints. They took me to my first convention in 2010 and have attended 95% of cons with me ever since. We have done many group and duo cosplays together and have many more planned!

Ragdoll Prints was also the first photographer to do a "cosplay shoot" for me and it was for this costume! The Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana where Ikasucon is hosted at has a fantastic wall of windows that appropriately served as the backdrop for this set of photos!

Though I don't wear this particular Miku look anymore (and she's admittedly not my favourite Vocaloid anymore. She's like rated 6 on my list of favourite female Vocaloids), she is a pretty cool program and I do have some select looks of her's I want to do. I also still have this costume in hopes to use as a base for one of the other looks... which may or may not be a secret.

Tomorrow is "Day 2 - How Many Costume Have You Done?". Should I include photos for all of them or just a select few...? This will be fun!
